Hell, she'd give anything to just be able to reach his level. And there was a lot more to ramble about; how she feels bad about that struggle and she wishes it came more naturally to her. But then Lance kisses her and that seems to melt the anxiety away, replaced with butterflies and the excited flip of her stomach.
And hearing those three words again. Lance hasn't said it since Shiro's wedding, and he'd been pretty drunk so Pidge hadn't even been sure he remembered saying it at all. But it sends a stupid, electric tingle up her spine that ends in a small, warm smile across her face.]
