[No one should strive to reach Lance's level. His level has been borne from a need to be approved, to be The One for someone, from insecurity that one day he might not be enough. While he does these days mostly because he loves Pidge and actions speak louder than words, he'd be remiss to ignore the fact his skills were practiced to for impressing rather than affection.
