[One final snicker at Lance's expense, and that's finally it. Pidge is just grinning, even if Lance can't see it.]

I think your exact words at the start of this were "I kept calling and it kept going to someone else." It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

I mean I am one, but anyone could've done it.

wait-- If that wasn't Edelya and was actually something killing you, that would've been your sixth death?!

Nothing! Have you seen what's out there? It's deadly!

... W-well, they don't always work the way I need them to! [Which is very much true for both things these days.]

Then you need to get back to practicing. [HUFF.] And let me take a look at your bayard. I'm no Altean alchemist, but maybe I can run a diagnostic comparing it to mine to check for any malfunctions.

There's only so much practicing I can do before I drain all my energy! [He is neglecting to tell her that he can technically drain energy from other sources, but shhh.] And you can look at it if you want, but I'm pretty sure you're not gonna find what's wrong that way.

[He can't see it, but she is Raising An Eyebrow at him.]

And how about you just hand over your bayard and leave the tech work to me.

[He sighs, relenting on that point for now.]

Well if you want to look at it you gotta come get it because I've got no idea where I am or how to get home.

[Edelya snorts a bit nearby as if trying to say 'what am i, chop liver?']

[And Pidge will happily point out--]

You've got Edelya. She should be able to guide you, right?

I guess so... but I'm staying on the fluid in case we get swarmed by those bugs. She sucks at fighting those off.

[He gets up with a sigh and heads over to where he heard Edelya was, holding his fluid out a bit so Pidge can see well enough. It's clear now that he'd locked himself in a run down shed of some kind and it's dark, but there's a dim light hanging from the roof.]

That works.

[Pidge raises the screen up close so she can see a bit better, lips pursed in thought as she tries to make out the details.]

It... looks like you're in a shed. Get closer to a wall and feel around for the door handle.

A shed? Pff, that'll take too long, Edelya can just knock it down, right girl?

[She snorts and then Lance is feeling around for her shoulder and her head. Once he's found it, he gets on her like a horse because she's just that huge now.]
